Ceol Pipes will feature as one of 4 Mayo-based musical instrument makers in an exciting and innovative show to be performed in The Linenhall Theatre, Castlebar, Co. Mayo on Thursday November 10th 2011 at 8:00pm.

During the Summer of 2011, award-winning film-maker Myles O’Reilly spent time filming in the workshops of fiddle maker Graham Wright, bow maker Gary Leahy, guitar and mandolin maker Brian Lofthouse and uilleann pipemaker John Butler (Ceol Pipes). This footage has been compiled to illustrate some of the diverse skills involved in the manufacture of these instruments.

A sountrack of traditional Irish tunes to accompany the film footage will be performed live, on instruments made by the featured makers, by Julie Langan (fiddle), Finbarr Naughton (fiddle and mandolin), Brian Lofthouse (Guitar) and John Butler (uilleann pipes).
